Any particularly fun anecdotes to tell? We sure love to hear them.

Well, nothing really too exciting. 5 of us were playing std, while my wife played ext. Fairies lost first, then merfolk, then scarecrows. My wife damnation'd 2 time then added wrath of god at the end just for fun. It came down to me and my buddy shane at the end. I was running g/w beatdown and he was running mono green druids(that i can never seem to beat by the way). he won. bah. O, lol, I almost forgot, shanes daughter was running mono green beatdown and died somewhere in the middle. The noobie in the group was running the fairies, lol, i think thats why he died first. but nothing really interesting happened.

I remember the first time I put Charisma and Freed from the Real on a Prodigal Sorcerer. I went from having only one creature to suddenly having everyone's creatures and cranking out the equivalent of a fireball every turn 'till I won.

I also have a friend who is tends to rely more on buying expensive powerful-looking cards rather than thinking his strategy through. Once we were in a three player all-elf tribal game. He had used a Priest of Titania to cast a Darksteel Colossus and he would have beat both myself and the other opponent but the next turn he put down a Coat of Arms. I guess he was going for overkill but he didn't realize it would pump up everyone's elves instead of just his. He ended up taking 51 damage in one attack and even an 11/11 indestructible creature can't save you from that kind of mistake.
I call upon Cardassians everywhere. Resist. Resist today. Resist tomorrow. Resist till the last Dominion soldier has been driven from our soil!

My favorite was in the game against my friend Caleb (Yeah, the one in my siggy), he dropped me to one life while I was playing white weenie and he was playing blue merfolk. I had about 38 power on the board, for some reason or another that I don't recall, but he had enough blockers to stop my guys and win. My draw? Akroma's Blessing. So, 38 pro blue attacking his blue deck. He wasn't too happy with that topdeck.
Me: Swing for 38, pro blue.
Caleb: No fair.

Souls: Pookyrocks, Matchoobaby, Durzo.

My friend actually took that deck(he plays it as U/R elementals) to Regionals in CT and got 88th. My other friend who took a money loaded RDW(goyf, Mutavault etc.) got 180th XD

Haha. I took a deck with a bunch of random rares to a FNM in Twin Falls and got 3rd out of 20 people. It was fun as all get up.
