It's too bad hybrid counts as both colors for EDH purposes, as that'll restrict your choices of the hybrid auras in a Zur deck.

Ah Zur is chosen in our group as well. I seems a pain to deal with

the only hybrid aura he'll need is Steel of the Godhead anyway. :B

Yeah, but in EDH 2nd best isn't so bad.

Sure, Zur has issues with Hybrid enchantments, but my Pheldagrif with Hammer Pants can gear up with three auras...then swing for ten. Its a silly deck, full of elephants and rhinos, but its fun to play.

Currently EDH has exploded in my local playgroup. We've gone from about oooh two/three players too about twelve.

Currently I've got an LD/burn deck with Ashling the pilgrim. and a Soilder Buff/Swarm deck using Crovax Ascendant Hero. Both are really fun to play.

We've got people using Sharrum. Intet, Sygg, Asuza, Lorthos, Scion of the Ur Dragon, Grand Arbiter Agustine the 4th. Sedris, Sliver Leigon. Vathi and Tolsmir Wolfblood.

All round iits a GREAT format IMO. I really like the way the game flows. Singleton really helps you pick and choose, and allows elbroate combos to be flown off. It also gives the newer people like me. A chance to play with the older cards. Although I first started with a little bit of Ravinc(the boros pre-con) And some 9th. I hadnt touched magic since then. So its a pretty far gap to when I picked up the game with the release of conflux again.

i have a scion of the ur dragon deck that is 80% mana fixing and 20% dragons.
turn 3 scion
turn 4 turn him into vorosh and hit for 6 and add counters
turn 5 turn him into draco witch will me a 15/15 and swing for the last points to add up to 21 general damage.

i also have a oros agro deck and a treva control deck.
