Hey everyone,

I'm Aaron; been playing since Mirage, parents made me quit at Stronghold (cause they thought it was for kids... I was 13); started playing again during Mirrodin block without buying Mirrodin cards, then lost my play group; started collecting again around Kamigawa and started playing hardcore again with Shards. I think I'm back for good now :) I play every color, though I love green and black and don't use red much.

Favorite combo: Sigil Captain - Mycoloth

I suppose I should tell an embarrassing story or some such. At the Alara Reborn prerelease, I played Round 1 against a 6 year old kid (I don't know what the store owner was thinking; guy was a jerk). Game 1 I won easily. Game 2 I got majorly mana screwed. Game 3... well, let's just say that it's extremely hard to beat a turn 3 Wooly Thoctar, turn 4 Wolly Thoctar, and a turn 5 Wooly Thoctar. Brutal. At least the kid will remember that game for the rest of his life. I know I will.

I really love the show, and foam at the mouth waiting for the new episode. You guys rock. Please keep up the good work.

Oh, and the longer the shows, the better.

Hello everyone! I'm Joe but my friends call me Lorincz. Last MTG expansion I collected was Tempest until a few weeks ago when me and a friend split a box of M10. Any hoo came across the podcast on itunes and just got hooked. I work the grave yard shift as a machine operator for one of the biggest wire manufactures in NJ so the podcast is entertaining and keeps me awake. I'm currently playing with a standard black/red deck. Also if any of you have an xbox 360 be sure to send me a F/R to play some Duels of the Planeswalkers!!
add me on XBLA Gt:Lorincz

Hello I'm jake and i first picked the game up from my cousins when i was like ten. It was round the time of onslaught and played mostly causally until Planar Chaos. I play multiplayer a lot but only over the summer with my brothers and their friends. I try to get a good collection going as it is a little hard when your a fifteen year old kid but i seem to be doing well with the more recent sets. I really wish i could have a card pool as deep as chewie and his crew. I also wish i could have a play group as good as theirs but i guess I'll just have to take what i get. Oh, yah i'm a closet player which means almost no one knows i play. The mana pool has soon escalated to my favorite podcast and i constantly update my itunes podcasts waiting for new episodes. keep up the great work and i love the long shows with a lot of content mixed i with random nonsense.

Hey,
[Insert Generic "Big Fan Of Show" Comment Here.] That being said, I'm in school for Funeral Service, and bursting out laughing in embalming class is... embarrassing. Not that I care, lol. I've been playing since Weatherlight, am 21 and play mostly EDH, Pauper and all things casual. I draft, but have never been to a major tourney, only prereleases. Keep up the great work guys, I'll be listening. :D

What up, I'm Brian a.k.a. Idiotshot and I'm just coming back into the game after a very lengthy hiatus - think Ice Age and you know how long I've really been out. I'm a father of 2 under the age of 3, so I don't get to play much, but it feels like a pretty good time to come back. Gotta say I love the podcast. My co-workers give me funny looks when I start laughing at what I'm listening to and then roll their eyes when I tell them what they are listening to. Keep up the strong work guys.

Hey guys and gals, name is Tom, starting playing when Legends were out.....ahh the good ol' days.....anyway stopped playing around stronghold after someone stole all my cards except my deck box for the second time and got back into it with a friend around Betrayers so I got in on all the Jitte madness. He moved away so i was all alone again. Anyway got back in at Conflux and started listening to podcasts and found you guys. Been listening ever since =+] Mostly play online now since I am still all alone....ohh so alone..
Anyways keep up the good work, and keep Dirk awake during the recodings.

Hey guys, I'm Steve. Love the show.

I started playing around the beginning of revised and kept it up until around Mirage. Then dropped out because my whole group of friends was moving over to Warhammer 40K. Came back in after college during Time Spiral block and have been goin' strong since. I'm a definite johnny with some unlikely spikish aspiriations: to make it to a pro tour (just once and I'll be happy).

That said, I almost did, though not by qualifying. Wizards contacted me about hiring my quartet to sing at Pro Tour Austin. We weren't able to (2 guys anavailible) but it remains a possibility for the future. Hopefully we can get to one this year! Here's us, I'm the dorky one doing the talking:

Anyway, I'm a high school band director and generic freelance musician/composer/sound engineer. If you guys have anything you might need some musical help with give me a call :).

Oh man, that was you? It's so cool to meet you (virtually, not physically of course.). I was really impressed by what you did with the babershop quartet. That song made me laugh so hard. But yeah, good to have you on the forums. I may not be a host, but I just want to say that it's really cool to meet you.

'lo folks! My name is Trevor.

I first started playing back in the invasion block and a little into apocalypse. However, there was only one person I knew who played (and also taught me the rules incorrectly), so when he moved away, I really didn't have any reason to continue. I only recently got back into playing during conflux since I found a group of people who actually played. I heard about the mana pool from them and I think it's great.

I'll be the first to admit that I am definitely not a veteran at this game (I was taught that blocking creatures tapped  ), so I may make some rules mistakes from time to time. Nevertheless, I look forward to a good time on these forums.

Hi guys!

I'm a big fan of the show. I've been playing kitchen table casual since Weatherlight with a big group of guys up here in mid-Michigan, and I've managed to turn them on to the show. Last weekend, we all played magic, while listening to you guys talk about magic, and our brains exploded. It was messy. Keep up the good work.
