After reviewing the alara preview episodes, I think you need to do more episodes about how some silly card mechanics impact the flavorful lives of the creatures depicted. I'm thinking specifically of the Life of a Sliver tangent, just as a series of absurdities. It would serve no purpose other than silly entertainment, but that's not exactly a bad thing.

I am relativley new to magic and frequently do FNM. Every week there is a three booster draft put on using the most recent set. I never go into it because I really don't know how.In many episodes when new sets come out you talk a little bit about your draft ideas and ect because you've been doing them yourselves. I would be really gratefull if the mana pool team could just give me and every other inexperienced player some tips and tricks in terms of what to look for, what to make, what to choose and how to play depending on the sets mechanics and creatures. Many thanks.

I think that for episode 100, you should have a super special awesome three hour show where the first hour is Brian, Chewie, Dirk and Mike, and the then second hour is a hoard of guest hosts and one of the main hosts, probably Chewie, and then the third hour is EVERYONE! IT'LL BE GREAT! *foams at the mouth and falls out of chair in excitement*

Each of those segments is going to run over by at least half an hour, so episode 100 will be the 4.5-5 hour extravaganza.

That's what I originally thought, but I assumed that'd be ridiculous. Apparently my estimation was incorrect. BUT IT'D STILL BE AWESOME! *falls out of chair foaming at the mouth again*

How about a show on drafting? Specifically, drafting in multiplayer, with some alternative draft formats thrown in for good measure. I have almost no experience drafting, but I prefer it to playing with constructed decks as I suck at deck building. Hey, on that note, how about deckbuilding for dummies?

We've done at least a couple draft walkthroughs, and at least a couple deckbuilding episodes. As you work your way back through the archives (which is really cool since you never do that) you'll hit them. I'd give you the episode numbers, but the hosting site is blocked here at work.

Awesome. I had a feeling you'd probably already covered them, but just in case I thought I'd throw out the ideas.

You guys should do another rotation episode when Zendikar rotates in. I was listening to the Time spiral/coldsnap episode and it was really fun.

Hey guys,

Have you ever done a "Card of the set" segment where you all name your pick for best/favourite/most iconic/personally satisfying/whatever card from each release? I'd like to hear picks going back at least to Mirrodin. Recent sets would be especially interesting as I hear you enthuse about cards when they're new, but I don't usually hear long term love for any in particular.

If you've already done this sort of thing, my apologies for being a noob (hey dummy).

Here is an idea. It may be a little out there and I do not know if it is even possible. But, how about a live show. Now I understand you tape everything currently, but is a live web-cast even possible with your current software? Yes, only you and your guests will actually be speaking, but your listeners will be able to respond to what you are saying on the forums or in the chat window. I would still think you should record it and put it up as a podcast, but the ability for your listeners to interact with the show in real time may be something to think about. Just a thought.
